Where did the day go?

I had a lot of stuff planned for today and got none of it done. Well, except for the work I had to do from home and even that is taking longer than I thought.
Tomorrow I have to go do laundry and possibly go to watch Friday's Devils game get finished if I can make it there. Well, at least I'll get a free game out of it.
Still, I'm not sure where today went.

Holiday cheer

I've been feeling kinda blah lately, so I decided to get a tree. got it during lunch on Thursday (yeah it's a fake, but as a barefooter needles are not for me), but was out late Thursday and Friday night.
So, I finally put it up this morning.
It's not the awesomest thing ever, but hey, it's got colored lights.

I'm going to have to check my finances at the end of the month to see if this is feasible.
Because that's a damn good price.

Nostalgia

While perusing Netflix today, I discovered that they have Star Blazers available. I loved the show as a kid. In fact, I remember we had to be back from the beach by a certain time just so that I could watch it (a the prehistoric days before DVRs and VCRs).
So, since I just started watching Space: Above and Beyond, that is going next on my list.

2 big things in my life

A few weeks ago I started playing again. I ahd a few practices with the West Orange Fire Dept hockey team. It was so much fun to get back out there and really helped in getting over that fear of reinjury you get after a big one. We're on hiatus for a bit while they look for a new ice time, but i hope to get back out there soon.

Also, getting used to Windows 7 on the laptop. So far it's like vista, but a bit better. Still have yet to really play and mess with some of the features.

Half a Saturday

Well, I didn't get home till 4:30 this morning, so I missed half the day due to unconsciousness.
The show was a lot of fun and the manager bought us drinks and breakfast afterwards (I had strawberry cheescake pancakes. Yum).
I'm still al little tired and listening to the Devils game, then maybe I'll start to get things done.

Time to learn the upgrade

Installed windows 7 at work yesterday (on my personal computer though).
Unfortunately, I haven't really had time yet to mess with it to give my opinion on anything yet.
Last night went to the Devils game...blah. Well, at least it was free (discounting parking and buying the person who gave me the ticket a beer)
Tonight I'm hanging out with friends after dinner with mum.
Tomorrow I'm supposed to see The Misfits.
While all this is fun, hopefully I'll get some time to chill and mess with the computer on Sat.
